About Rivet Games:
Our team is passionate about crafting authentic experiences across Sim games and beyond. Working in Unreal Engine 4 and 5, we aim to create the best experience for our clients, players, and teammates, and are proud to deliver content as 2nd and 3rd-party developers.
Role overview:
We are looking for an ambitious Associate Producer to help manage the development and delivery of high-quality simulation game content in a fully remote environment. This is a growing role that focuses on coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring production runs smoothly, and delivering projects on schedule while maintaining the studio’s standards for authenticity and technical excellence.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Art Director and project leads, with opportunities to take on increasing ownership of production planning, delivery, and stakeholder communication as Rivet Games continues to grow.
The ideal candidate combines strong organisational skills with an understanding of game development pipelines, enabling them to support artists, designers, and engineers throughout the production lifecycle. Rivet Games develops simulation titles and add-ons for PC and console platforms and values accuracy, efficiency, and collaborative teamwork.
Must-Have:
● Experience in game development, production, project coordination, or project management
● Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across engineering, design, QA and art
● Understanding of modern game development pipelines
● Experience managing dependencies and supporting teams through delivery milestones
● Strong communication skills with experience reporting progress to stakeholders
● Ability to identify production risks early and drive practical solutions
● Confidence working in a small studio environment where production, planning, communication and problem-solving responsibilities often overlap
Nice to Have:
● Experience on large-scale or technically complex game projects
● Background that spans multiple disciplines (QA, engineering collaboration, product ownership, production)
● Experience supporting distributed or co-development teams
● Familiarity with Unreal Engine pipelines
● Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
● Experience with external partners, outsourcing, or multi-studio collaboration
Responsibilities:
● Coordinate production planning and milestone tracking across projects
● Communicate and coordinate with art, design, programming, QA, and leadership
● Where needed, translate creative and technical goals into clear production plans
● Monitor progress, dependencies, and risks to keep delivery on schedule
● Support teams by helping to highlight and remove blockers, improving workflow efficiency
● Maintain alignment between Rivet, external partners, and simulation communities where appropriate
● Contribute to a collaborative and transparent studio culture
Rivet Games Benefits:
● Fully remote role
● 37.5 hour week with main core hours between 10:00am - 4:00pm BST
● Regular company get-togethers every 6 weeks in central Scotland
● 26 days annual leave, plus 8 company-assigned days
● Health and travel insurance
● Death-in-service benefits
● Work as a key part of a small team on projects lasting up to 6 months
We are committed to promoting equal opportunities and diversity, and all applicants will be considered on their merit, qualifications, competence and talent regardless of any protected characteristics.
